SUBLIME, LAVACA COUNTY, TEXAS
This family cemetery has only six markers. A tall chain link fence surrounds them. The oldest marker is for John L. Allen, who died 17 September 1867.
The cemetery is about 5 miles north of Sublime on CR 138. It is about 25 feet from the fence line and can be seen from the road. It was very overgrown when the top photo was taken in early 2007, but the 2008 photos below show it to be in much better shape.
