YOAKUM WOMAN, 106, LIVED UNDER 5 FLAGS
Yoakum, Tex., Nov. 13. – Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Dickinson of the Yoakum section has just celebrated her 106th birthday. She lives with her son, G. F. Dickinson, Sr., 78. “Grandma” Dickinson has lived in Texas under five flags and remembers well incidents of the early history of the State. She has lived in her present home for 60 years.
Caroline Dickinson died 29 May 1926 in DeWitt County where she is buried in the County Line Cemetery. Contributed by Matt Cross
