SUBLIME, LAVACA COUNTY, TEXAS
This small family cemetery has thirteen known graves. The oldest is for Wilhelmine Obelgoner, who died 24 January 1862. The cemetery was inventoried by Sam Tise on August 16, 1979 and reinventoried by Regena Williamson on April 13, 2011. Regena was unable to locate two of the stones that Tise included in his survey, but it was very overgrown. To visit the cemetery go northeast from Sublime past the churches, and take the first road to the left. The cemetery is about a mile down that road on the left.
