WIED COMMUNITY, LAVACA COUNTY, TEXAS
This is a small, fenced cemetery on private property with only six markers. The oldest is for George Wied who died 8 Jan 1877. To get to the cemetery go west from Hallettsville on 90-A, turn right on FM 1891 and drive 1.6 miles, turn left on CR 372 and drive .6 mile to the locked gate on the left. The cemetery is in the pasture to the left about 100 yards.
