Keilers Cemetery

SUBLIME, LAVACA COUNTY, TEXAS

The Keilers Cemetery is located back in the woods on private property off CR 147. The oldest of the twenty grave markers is for Herman Botard, who died August 9, 1875. Stanek Hoffmann's obituary states that he was buried in the Honey Creek Cemetery, so that may have been an early name for this cemetery. Other early names may be shown on John Botard's death certificate, which lists his burial place as the Botard Cemetery, and Mary Hoffman's death certificate, which lists her burial place as the Pawlek Cemetery.

This annotated list of burials in the Keilers Cemetery was contributed by Regena Williamson.
